Zoltán Ádám is a senior research fellow at the ELTE Centre for Social Sciences, Institute for Political Science, in Budapest. From September 2025 to February 2026, he was Elkana Fellow at Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin. From April 2026, he is the academic coordinator of the Budapest Academic Freedom Initiative, based at the ELTE Centre for Social Sciences and supported by the Elkana Program of Wissenschaftskolleg.
