Didier Fassin
Didier Fassin is an anthropologist, sociologist and physician, professor at the Collège de France, where he holds the chair Moral Questions and Political Issues in Contemporary Societies, and at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. He is also a director of study at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales. He is the author of Humanitarian Reason. A Moral History of the Present (2011) and Life. A Critical User’s Manual (2018), and the editor of A Companion to Moral Anthropology (2012), and with Axel Honneth, of Crisis Under Critique. How People Assess, Transform and Respond to Critical Situations (2022).
