Katharine Halls is a translator from Arabic and lives in Berlin. For her translation of Raja Alem’s The Dove’s Necklace, she has been awarded with the Sheikh Hamad Award. With Sandra Hetzl and Alice Guthrie, Katharine runs the agency 10/11, which specializes in the translation and promotion of ambitious contemporary writing in Arabic.
