Ameer Hamad is a poet and programmer from Jerusalem. He studied computer science at Birzeit University. His poems and prose have been published in Beirut Literature Magazine, New Arab and ArabLit Quaterly. In 2019, he was the recipient of the Al-Qattan-Prize for poetry and short prose.
