Mohamed Al-Zaqzooq is a writer, editor and researcher born in Khan Yunis in 1977. He studied Arabic and literature at Al-Aqsa University and writes for various Palestinian and Arab platforms. In spring 2024 he co-edited the special issue Gaza! Gaza! Gaza! (ArabLit Quarterly/Majalla 28) together with Mahmoud Al-Shaer, bringing together essays, poems and reflections by writers living in Gaza. His collection of poems The Fortune Tellers Betrayed Me won the 2018 Al Khalili Prize for Poetry from the Palestine Cultural Forum.
