Alina Stefanescu was born in Romania and lives in Birmingham, Alabama. Her poetry, essays, and prose have been published in World Literature Today, Poetry, BOMB, and many others. In April 2025, her new poetry collection, My Heresies, came out with Sarabande Books in Louisville, Kentucky.
